A solution for men

Undoing Male Domination:

I would like to see a grass-roots movement among men to undo the damaging effects of male domination on themselves. I expect this might be easier for teen and young-adult men to do, as you have not had to hide yourself for as long as older men. But I know older men who are into it.

The core activity of a men’s movement would be getting together in small groups (4 to 8 men). You make a pact that you will be kind to each other, that you will not tease any man about what happened to him, and that you will not interrupt, nor talk about a man’s story to anyone, afterwards.

You can divide the available time so that each man gets an equal turn to tell about times when he was dominated by older boys and by men. Using a timer can be helpful.

From what I’ve seen, it only takes a few months of weekly get-togethers, for there to be noticeable changes in how men treat each other, and women, and in how they relate to the Earth and the climate emergency.

A men’s Undoing Male Domination movement could rapidly shift the political balance in the USA. We could become a world leader in stopping the climate emergency.
