Climate Justice

What is Climate Justice? It’s about two things:

1) It means facing that the wealthy, industrialized countries’ enormous CO2 emissions are causing life-and-death weather disasters in the colonized and exploited countries of Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Climate justice would mean that the wealthy countries stop emitting CO2, and start to draw-down the CO2 that is already in the sky; and that we give major recovery assistance to countries whose ecosystems we have ruined via climate change.

2) Climate justice means including the voices and brilliant thinking of all the people in all countries, whose input is usually not asked for and not used.

Reason: the job of reversing the climate emergency is so big that we cannot afford to waste or ignore anyone’s mind.
